Stop State Library Cuts

The NSW Government has cut $5.2 million from our already underfunded local libraries potentially forcing them to reduce library staff, cut branch opening hours, as well as reduce collections and community programs.

The way this Liberal-National Government has taken a sledgehammer to our local libraries is senseless at a time when NSW already has the lowest level of state government contributions of any state or territory in Australia!

Public libraries are a source of lifelong education and one of any community’s greatest assets.

The NSW Government should be investing in our libraries, not hitting them with more cuts!

Sign the petition calling on the NSW Government to reverse their senseless cuts to our local libraries!
